This is a crazy read. Not completely unbelievable, but it always shocks and awes when people find the courage to go public.

Ye. No wonder I got swag.

Walk Off The Earth is such an amazing, organic band. I’m officially in love.

Listening to their covers playlist right now, on Youtube

#SadButTrue

Selena: I-I love you like a love song, babay.
Justin: And I was like, baby, baby, baby, ohhh.
No wonder they’re so in love.

Five Times August. ♥ Love his down to earth personality.

bradsayshello:

This cover of Ben E. King’s classic “Stand By Me” was recorded at home in the summer of 2011 as a demo while testing out some new recording equipment. It was merely an experimental recording but I ended up having a lot of fun recording it. One of the fun things about recording a cover song is that you have an opportunity to take a song you didn’t write and make it your own. People will either love you or hate you for that. Either way, enjoy : )

I just bought the DTX-500 from Guitar Center, approximately 10 minutes ago. It’s not like I can spare the money, but I just had to do it. For my sanity.
- because if not now, then when?
- because this was my new year’s resolution like two years ago - to buy a drum set, whether electronic or acoustic, depending on my living situation.
- because I’m sick of sacrificing what’s “me” for what’s expected of me
- because a laptop or new clothes would’ve been great, but this makes me happier
- because I’m very impulsive on these things
- because some days, I don’t want to be practical, I just want to be frivolous and careless
- because it’s my life and I’m the boss, I make the decisions, no matter what
- because Guitar Center had a 12% discount off of a purchase of $149 or more (no affiliation)
- because I’ve let so much of my hobbies go in the recent life, I’ve become settled and boring
- because I would love to eventually buy an amp and spend my weekends playing music at Balboa Park
- because music can improve our lives more dramatically than any healthcare or political policy; music can improve our lives more dramatically than nice clothes and a nice car
- because, where the fuck has my rhythm gone? Without practice, this hobby will become another “I used to —”
- because I’m awesome.
- because — just because.

Beautiful <3 I can’t get enough of this song.

“Come What May” - Moulin Rouge OST

And there’s no mountain too high, no river too wide.

Sing out this song and I’ll be there by your side.

Storm clouds may gather and stars may collide.

But I will love you until the end of time.

Ben Sollee - “How to See the Sun Rise” from Learning to Bend

Teach me baby, oh, i promise i’ll get it this time
How to hold a bird in my hand and watch it grow
See those feathers bloom
But don’t let it fly
Even though that’s what it’s supposed to do

Teach me baby, mmm, one last time
How to see the sun rise
In the dead of night

Local Natives - Who Knows Who Cares (by localnativesband)

‎”You could let it down,
jump into the river, baby.
Easy as it sounds,
it’s never quite as easily done.
The current has us now, it’s okay.
Take into account it’s all about to change.
Who knows?
Who cares…”

This song in my ears.

Pete Yorn - “EZ”

Peter Tosh - Legalize it live (by cernoch)

In celebration, as commemoration, in remembrance - a day of harmony, peace, and community.

Belle and Sebastian - “Little Lou, Ugly Jack, Prophet John” (ft. Norah Jones)

Can I see what’s underneath your bed?

Can I stay until the milkman’s working?

Can I stay until the cafe awakes?

Do you hate me in the light? Did you get a fright when you looked across from where you lay?
